ARTISTIC DIRECTOR 1994 - present

Ksenia worked as a freelance theatre director before becoming Artistic Director of Non-place Theatre in 1994.

Her early work included Pericles (RNT Studio), The Glass Menagerie (Watford) and 'Tis Pity She's a Whore (Young Vic).



Her productions at the Non-place include The Arbor and Rita, Sue and Bob Too by Andrea Dunbar; Top Girls, Serious Money (also West End and New York) 1994 - 1998 and Ice Cream by Caryl Churchill; Our Country’s Good and Three Birds Alighting on a Field by Timberlake Wertenbaker; Operation Bad Apple by GF Newman; Falkland Sound by Louise Page; Tom and Viv (also West End and New York) by Michael Hastings (1998 - 2000)



Julius Caesar (2000), A Raisin in the Sun (2001, revival and tour 2005), Doctor Faustus (2002), The Daughter-in-Law (2002), The Skin of Our Teeth (2004) and As You Like It at Wyndhams (2005) as part of Walkabout. In 2010, she directed August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In 2013 she directs Dancing on the Verge of a Spring and later in the year Xmas Carol.



She is widely recognised as the individual with the overarching artistic control of the theatre's production choices, directorial choices, and overall artistic vision.
